We all know that most of the bloggers have now switched to WordPress.org or better we say a self hosted blog as their blogger platform but still many bloggers use Blogger.com for blogging. Obviously a self hosted blog is better in terms of SEO, blog ranking e.t.c.But there are few reasons why people love blogger and still use it,

If you are using blogger, then all you need is to pay for your domain name registration charges if you want to use .com or .org or any other custom domain name, else it’s free too.

All you need to use blogger is just some basic html knowledge, that’s it.
3. No Hosting Charges:
Even the hosting in blogger is free of cost plus your site is going to be hosted google servers.

Most of the features aren’t available on blogger but we can find their alternatives like plugins,etc., easily on the net and the best part of these alternatives is that they are free of cost too.

Being the oldest blogging platform, blogger is now supported by every website that offers widgets, that means you can install these widgets without even using html codes.

True…true…true…and true! I love blogger. When I first started blogging several years ago I didn’t have a clue what html even meant. I have learned so much about html code including editing and seo. I have a wordpress blog but if I had to choose…it would be blogger without a doubt.

Blogger is so outdated. It is easy to use, but it has no where near enough technology or openness to compete against WordPress (I mean self-hosting WordPress).

Yes, true. Starters always go with blogger. Just the name blogger makes them feel that blogger is the definition of a blog. Soon bloggers realize and shift to wordpress.
